The roles of staff working within older persons services have changed in recent years as services have moved from a support planning service to promoting independence through monitoring well-being and facilitating support through other services.
That is why erosh has worked in partnership with Kingdom Academy to develop two CIH qualifications specifically for people working in independent living, sheltered housing, retirement housing and housing with care. The next cohorts start this October and we have a free information session on the 8th September for you to be able to learn more about:
Supporting residents to live independently starts with understanding their needs, recognising potential risks and responding appropriately when circumstances change. As the role of front-line staff continues to evolve, having the confidence to assess needs and facilitate the right support has never been more important.
