Mobility vehicles (MVs) have been revolutionary for older people with limited mobility, providing independence, social inclusion and reducing dependency on others for basic tasks such as shopping, picking up prescriptions, visiting the doctor etc. Inn recent years, the number of older people using MVs (and sometimes more than one) has increased dramatically and is likely to continue rising in line with the well-publicised growth in numbers of older people. This increase has resulted in challenges for providers of sheltered and retirement housing for older people, beyond just storage and charging facilities, especially where accommodation is older and not designed with MVs in mind.  The most common issues raised by erosh members are:
